Many American young adults have an advantage in life just by being born in America - the land of prosperity. These youth start adulthood with financial help from parents and endless opportunities for a fulfilling career. However, a recent survey conducted by Pew Research Center revealed that only sixteen percent of Americans between the ages of 18-24 were financially independent, with only forty percent of adults in this age bracket being employed full time.
