Semester Grading:
Class Participation (50%): Students should come to every class prepared and ready to engage in lectures and class activities. Students will be expected to give respectful attention to the instructor, participate in discussions, and show courtesy and empathy to classmates during presentations and peer reviews.
Homework (25%): Students are required to hand in all homework assignments on the due dates (in-person or by email). If a student is struggling with a particular assignment, he/she may contact the instructor to ask for assistance and/or extra time to complete the assignment.
Essays (25%): Students may submit multiple drafts of essays. I am willing to assist with editing until students are happy with their work and with the grades they have earned. 😊
